Calton presents a glittering evening of dinner, live music and spectacular prizes at this fundraiser in support of Maggie’s Centre Edinburgh. There will be live and silent auctions, dancing, and much more.

Raising funds for a charity close to our hearts

Maggie’s Centres are special places: sitting next to the UK’s major cancer hospitals, they offer support to people when they need it the most. Our Director Tom found himself at Maggie’s Edinburgh in the autumn of 2019, on a day when his family was turned upside down by his wife Lucy’s diagnosis:

‘A week after we returned from honeymoon in November 2019 we were given the news everyone dreads. The lump we thought harmless, was in fact a rare soft tissue cancer. Throughout Lucy’s treatment and ensuing pandemic, Maggie’s Edinburgh Centre was a place of calm and hope, giving both Lucy and I the space to deal with the tidal waves created by the illness. It was an obvious cause to support as Calton Wealth Management’s charity partner.’

The first Maggie’s Centre opened in Edinburgh in 1996 and the network now extends internationally. From our home in Edinburgh, CWM is delighted to partner with Maggie’s to fundraise so that its vital work can continue.

Centre Fundraiser, Amy Robertson at Maggie’s Edinburgh said, ‘Supporters such as Calton Wealth Management allow us to keep supporting people at what is possibly the hardest time of their lives. We rely almost entirely on voluntary donations to support people living with cancer, as well as family and friends, so we are so grateful to Tom Ham and the team for raising vital funds for Maggie’s Edinburgh’.
