We understand that, although we do this all the time, you don’t so we’ve put together a few frequently asked questions!

Meetings are held in our offices in Edinburgh, Peebles and London, or via video chat (Teams or Zoom) for initial meetings. Subsequent meetings may take place at your home or office.

There is metered parking available nearby at our Edinburgh and Peebles offices. If you are travelling to our London office, the nearest tube stations are Bond Street or Piccadilly Circus.

Initial meetings are at our expense with no commitment from either side.

You, your partner if applicable, and an open mind.

Initial meetings tend to last between 60 & 90 minutes.

Yes, and passionately so! We work for our clients, and put them at the centre of whatever we do. Any investment, pension or insurance product will be selected from the whole of market.

We charge a fixed fee for financial planning. We’ll agree to this after our initial meeting, once we’ve had the opportunity to ascertain the complexity of your situation and agree on the scope of the work.

We do not receive any commission for investment or pension work. We have the option to be paid by commission when arranging personal protection and insurance cover. This will be declared in advance, and if appropriate, you may elect to pay by fee instead.
